The first thing you probably didn't know about your hair is that it falls in to three hair shapes; straight, wavy, and curly.  Everyone's hair is one of these shapes, or a combination of any of the three.   Straight hair has a shaft that is round,  wavy hair has a shaft that is oval, and  curly hair takes the form of a narrow oval.  What is most interesting is that each individual human being has a unique size and shape of hair, and this is based largely on ethnicity, which is the second thing that you probably didn't know about your hair.  Understanding the shape of your hair can help in choosing the right shampoos conditioners and styling products.
