Robert J. Grant is the co-founder of the Virginia Beach Chapter of I.A.N.D.S. (International Association of Near-Death Studies). I.A.N.D.S. is the oldest and largest group of its kind in the world, founded by Kimberly Clark Sharp, whose profound near-death experience was chronicled in her bestselling book, After the Light. He was the founding editor of The New Millennium Journal, in 1996. The bimonthly publication explored Cayce’s readings and the correlations with contemporary spirituality and science. During his time as editor, he wrote and edited many articles, interviews featuring theologians Houston Smith, Richard Drummond, Harmon Bro; pioneering researchers, Raymond Moody, M.D., Larry Dossey, M.D., Scott Sparrow, and Matthew Fox, among others. The journal enjoyed a large international readership for five years. While working at the Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E., Robert worked as the Public Information & Outreach Coordinator for five years (1992-1996).
