PRLog -- Ann Young is the principal at Peace River School Division #10, a network of educational institutions serving communities in Canada. In this capacity since 2008, Ann has been greatly depended on to oversee all daily operations. Her duties encompass an assortment of diverse tasks, such as concentrating on the development of young people with innovative programs, and administration. Ann is a First Nation’s specialist. Her teaching career started in 1979 working with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education Committee developing vocational education programs for at risk students, as well as writing, teaching, piloting career education courses relevant to northern environment. Additionally, she has held positions as capital manager with Indian and Northern Affairs, and has collaborated with the Ontario Ministry of Education to teach and pilot grade 10 curriculum. Ann has a personal specialty in leadership, and is an esteemed member of Toast Masters and Administrative Association. She is highly regarded for her efficiency and consistent professionalism. Ann credits her success to hard work and dedication, qualities equally evident in her academic and personal achievements. She holds an honors degree in native studies from the University of Petersborough in Ontario. This impressive résumé is perfectly complimented by a notable agenda of philanthropic undertakings. Ann maintains an active humanitarian profile, contributing to several charities and volunteer groups including the SPCA Animal Shelter. When she is not at school, Ann enjoys golfing, traveling, curling, and spending time with family.
