Author’s Book Reveals How,Together, We Can Make a Change in How Children View the Learning Process

Challenging ingrained notions of learning and teaching, author Arlene Rotter co-founded an experiential learning academy, Chrysalis Experiential Academy, serving grades four through twelve, in Roswell, Georgia. Over the past seven years, she’s watched unmotivated students soar to great achievements.

Rekindling the Love of Learning is Rotter’s nonfiction tribute to experiential learning. This coming of age book demonstrates how this type of learning can be utilized by home school students, public and private schools.

Arlene Rotter has taught students for thirty-eight years, everything from preschool to undergraduate college courses. She grew up in Los Angeles, the product of an experimental educational program in a public school where eleven students were taught experientially from kindergarten through high school. She currently resides in Roswell, Georgia with her husband of thirty-five years, Alan, and their children: their daughter and her husband, Mandy and Phinney, her children’s twins, Arliss and PJ, and her and Alan’s son Adam.
