Wisconsin Nanny Agency Nominated for National Agency of the Year Award

March 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Perfect Match Nannies & Sitters, Inc. (“PMNS”), serving all of Wisconsin, with base office in Janesville, was recently nominated for the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (“APNA”) national award. PMNS was one of three home staffing agencies in the nation to be recognized for this at the APNA yearly conference that was held in Las Vegas, October 24-26, 2008. The conference hosted 115 agencies from across the nation.

PMNS, founded in 2006, was nominated for the award by several Milwaukee nanny support group members of NorthShore Professional Nanny Alliance (“NPNA”). The nominators cited PMNS’ high level of ethics, charity, professionalism, knowledge, dedication to improving the home employment industry and outstanding support during a crisis where a local nanny was involved in a vehicular accident which fatally wounded one of her child passengers. The two nominated agencies, in addition to PMNS, both operate in Texas and were founded 14 and 25 years ago, respectively. Morningside Nannies, of Houston, received the award.

PMNS places nannies, home managers, parent helpers & governesses. PMNS also places on-call sitters in the Southern part of WI. The agency has been featured in numerous national publications, on local news broadcasts and supports local civic and community activities. PMNS owner, Nettie Weber, a nationally recognized leader in the nanny industry, serves on committees for the International Nanny Association (“INA”) and has been a featured speaker at 3 past conferences for both INA and National Association for Nanny Care (“NANC”).

APNA, established in 1993, promotes best business practices in all areas of the nanny placement and household staffing industries. Member placement agencies adhere to APNA’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Ethical Practices. Member agencies are located across the nation and APNA’s placement agencies have undergone extensive screening by the APNA Board prior to being an accepted member.
