Follow on Google News | Leading Commercial Broker tells CCIM Group Participants that Real Estate Cycle has hit BottomJohn Crossman CCIM, president of Crossman & Company recently told mentor participants in a Florida CCIM Chapter conference in downtown Orlando that the real estate cycle has bottomed out and now is the time to expand and prosper.
“The same week I started getting those calls, I also had a call from a national group that is looking to buy, and has $900 million in cash to spend. That tells me we’ve hit the bottom,” he explained to the group. “That doesn’t mean there’s not more bad news coming,” Crossman cautioned. “But whenever there is turmoil, there are opportunities,” Crossman told the group he is recruiting leasing associates who have a passion for real estate and a desire to succeed on their own terms. “In this real estate cycle, there will be many brokers who find their greatest career successes,” Crossman said. “Passion, continuing education, hard work, attention to details and perseverance are fundamental character traits that are now bankable assets in this market cycle,” he said.
