About Lizzy Forrester:

Lizzy Forrester conducts an orchestra of resounding colors with each stroke of her brush.  Her luminous and highly textured canvases reflect a deep admiration for the Impressionist painters, placing a strong emphasis on the interplay of light on surfaces.  Nevertheless, Forrester’s impetus for painting lies much deeper than a simple desire to render the rays of light as they cascade upon a placid pond or field of poppies.  In fact, like a stream of consciousness poem or impromptu musical composition, Forrester’s works serve as expressions of the artist’s innermost thoughts and emotions.  Her stunning landscape paintings resonate with a sense of calm and happiness, evidencing the artist’s strongly influential spirituality.  Her artwork serves primarily as a communicative tool, created by impulse and an inexplicable urge to paint, but also expresses the self-taught artist’s innate understanding of color theory and sophisticated eye for spatial arrangements.
Lizzy Forrester lives and works in the Balearic Islands, Spain.

About Sensorial Realities
Open composition uniting Impressionistic brush strokes and elements of candid Naturalism converge in an exhibition of contemporary visual art that slips into the senses and gives birth to a welling-up of emotion. These daring and deeply committed artists masterfully exploit unusual visual angles, provocative portraiture and light in its changing qualities to reveal beauty, be it in mundane objects or beloved landscapes. The presence of the sheer force of nature, in wildlife skillfully superimposed on a palette of abstract color or pastoral scenes infused with the momentary and transient effects of sunlight are the expression of expertise in the manipulation of pigment and texture, but above all of fine-tuned cultural sensitivity and awareness.
