What’s My Cup Of Coffee Actually Worth?

Ethical trading is something that’s very close to our hearts at Mars Drinks. So we’re really excited about taking part in Ethical Trading Day this week with leading drinks vending provider, Seymour Valentine.

March 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Over 2,000 employees from 25 companies based at the London Underwriting Centre (http://www.luc.co.uk/default.asp?PageID=3&n=default) in the City are invited to exchange good quality second-hand goods (everything from pens to clothes) for a refreshing cup of FLAVIA Rainforest Alliance certified coffee or delicious tea.

The aim is to make the City employees think about what is an equal ‘ethical trade’. And all the goods collected will be donated to Oxfam at the end of the day!

What better way to feel good while enjoying a much deserved FLAVIA hot drink? Well, the first 700 people to take part will get a free bar of Seeds of Change® (http://www.seedsofchangefoods.com/our_foods/product.aspx?c=chocolates&p=263) chocolate from Mars, so there’s even more reason for LUC employees to get involved and enjoy the perfect afternoon break at work.

It will be great to see ethical trading in action. Seymour Valentine and Mars Drinks will be hosting the event taking place between 2.30pm – 5pm on Thursday, March 5.
