A Large metal processing company needed to move 30,000 lb loads of steel. They were running into roadblocks when being presented with large counterbalance lift trucks that could not handle the awkward load effectively. After talking to RICO Manufacturing about their problem, RICO was able to analyze the company’s application and deliver a solution. A custom built pallet truck with 168 inch forks was designed and manufactured to handle the 30,000 lb at a 96 inch load center easily, and it was done for $200,000 under the company’s budget.

A large food and beverage company came to RICO to solve their material handling problem. Due to the demanding requirements and extreme environment conditions of their application and facilities, the life span of their lift trucks was only about 1 year. RICO’s stout and superior design was able to handle the harsh application and environment and last 6 – 7 times longer than all of the previous lift trucks. A large appliance manufacturing company needed RICO to help streamline their current application process. They initially thought they needed two separate lift trucks. RICO’s engineers were able to custom design a pallet truck to handle a 10,000 lb load and also effectively function as a tow tugger. RICO’s innovative engineering successfully built one truck to handle both operations for the end-user and once again did it well under the company’s project budget.

A processing plant with an explosion risk environment had a need for lift trucks for two different applications but their budget did not allow the expense for two lift trucks. A medical equipment manufacturer came to RICO Manufacturing solve their material handling problem. They needed to move 28000 lb loads of magnets and their facility could not accommodate a large counterbalance truck. RICO once again stepped up and delivered an innovative solution. A 28,000 lb capacity pallet truck with a 64 inch outside dimension of the forks was custom built to handle the odd size of the load. Once again, RICO accomplished this well under the companies expected project budget.
