PRLog -- James M. Reddan is on the music faculty of Linn-Benton Community College, a two-year public college on a 104-acre campus, two miles south of Albany, Oregon. James joined the staff at LBCC in 2008, bringing over a decade of experience in choral direction, musical education, and performing. As the department’s only full time member, he is responsible for overseeing all of the programs, events, curriculum, and concerts. James also instructs Music Fundamentals, Music Appreciation, Introduction to Rock, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir. Additionally, he is an accomplished vocalist and conductor and is involved with several esteemed arts societies, including the ACDA, MENC, CMS, DACDA, OMEA, and Destination Imagination. James holds master’s degrees in choral conducting and music education from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts in music education from McDaniel College. He compliments his academic and professional achievements with an impressive array of personal undertakings, which include support of local scholastic projects, charitable donations to educational benefits, and community service. James is well known by both students and colleagues for his contributions to the arts and credits this success to his passion for music and commitment to acquiring and sharing knowledge. Off campus, James enjoys reading, travel, attending the theatre, and of course, LBCC concerts.
