Follow on Google News | Yoga And Well Being WeekendSpend a wonderful weekend of yoga and relaxation in a Edwardian Manor House
By: A Evans The teacher for your weekend is Jambo Truong based in Newcastle upon Tyne. A very popular and experienced yoga teacher, Jambo is also an integrated health practitioner who uses a range of different therapy protocols to enhance health and well-being. Jambo teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga as taught in the tradition of Sri K Pattabhi Jois aka Guruji. This style of yoga is characterized by a focus on vinyasa, or a dynamic connecting posture, that creates a flow between the more static traditional yoga postures. Vinyasa translates as linking and the system also implies the linking of the movement to the breath. Essentially the breath dictates the movement and the length of time held in the postures. Unlike some Hatha yoga styles, attention is also placed on the journey between the postures not just the postures themselves. An experienced teacher, Jambo's lessons are suitable of all levels, from beginner to experienced. As well as the yoga, throughout the weekend, Jambo will be giving talks and demonstrations on a range of therapies and Ayurvedic principles. Prana Holidays’ Deneholme Yoga Weekend runs from Friday 11th September to Sunday 13th September and costs from £275 per person based on sharing a twin room. The price includes 2 night’s accommodation, all vegetarian meals with water, all lessons, talks and demonstrations, a yoga matt if required, bottled water and free parking at Deneholme. Places are limited so early booking is required to guarantee a place. See http://www.pranaholidays.com/ # # # Prana Holidays is an ATOL holding yoga, well-being and discovery holiday operator.
