Feb. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Stem Cell Voice of India has organized a lecture on Stem Cells in Swamy Shraddhanand College, Alipur near Delhi on 13th Feb’09, with its aim to educate the students about stem cell technology.

Stem Cell Voice of India is a non profit general public society, founded by Mr. Karan Goel, a patient of Retinitis Pigmentosa, with a vision to bring awareness and to improve scientific understanding in Stem Cell field for finding cure of the incurable diseases & to avoid patient abuse, as there are no laws existing in this field, by integrating all the sectors like doctors, patients, scientists, legal bodies, business people, students & NGOs etc.

The lecture has been delivered by Dr. Harvinder Singh Chhabra, the Chief of Spine Service & Medical Director of Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Delhi. Being the member of SCVI, he represented the society in its goal of spreading the awareness in the academic sector.

He deliberated on "Overview of Human Stem Cells & current scenario especially with regard to spinal injury management." With this, Dr. Chhabra acquainted students first with the basic knowledge of stem cells. Then he went on to present the potential of these cells in management of the spinal cord injury.

With such events, Stem Cell Voice of India is heading towards Awareness through education sector.
Therefore, in this way, this informatory & much enlightening source offered a platform for the academicians to get the much valued knowledge from stem cell expert. Hence, Stem Cell Voice of India which works in the interest of patients & general public provided the true picture of all the aspects of stem cell technology.
