ePick Television launches Popeye Sing-A-Long Contest

Dec. 17, 2008 - PRLog -- The “Popeye the Sailorman Sing-A-Long contest promises to be one of the funniest internet video contests yet. The contest ends Jan 30th 2009 and winners are chosen by website users. All entries need to be completed and posted by January 16th 2009 and then on the 17th the voting begins. “What a great way to have fun singing and celebrating a cartoon icon like Popeye that is still very popular after many years.  We believe that young people of all ages enjoy the older classic cartoons as much as the new,” says Patrick Murphy ePickTV Promotions.

To inter the contestants upload short movies of themselves performing the “Popeye the Sailorman Theme Song.” Each contestant can ham it up as much as they like. The 12 finalists will be Chosen on Authenticity, Creativity, and Character Like-ness. From the 12 finalists the audience will choose the winners.
