PRLog -- Larry G. Schmaltz is the president and chief executive officer of A2L Technologies, an environmental consulting, engineering, and remediation company whose cost-effective solutions have assisted many of the highest ranked Fortune 500 companies. Larry has been with A2L since 1992 and is responsible for overseeing contamination assessments, remedial actions, underground tank removals, asbestos abatement, and engineering inspections. Additionally, Larry provides consultancy in the areas of asbestos and site contamination assessments, ground water fate and transport, and site remediation. He has more than 30 years of experience in engineering and construction management as well as the hazardous materials industry and has managed more than $100 million in projects for commercial, industrial and governmental clients. Prior to joining A2L Technologies, Larry was the general manager of southwest regional operations for a state-wide environmental engineering company and president of an east coast environmental consulting firm. He graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering as well as an MBA in general business. Larry is a member of the Florida Engineering Society, the National Society of Engineers, the National Society of Environmental Forensics, and on the board of trustees for Mount Marion College. He maintains an active profile within the community and supports the Florida Animal Health Foundation, Florida Veterinary Specialists Charitable Foundation and Hillside College Presidents Club. In his spare time, Larry enjoys running, reading, motorcycling, Scuba diving and playing piano.
