The Fun-filled Adventures of Two Precocious Poodles

Oct. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Meet Brutus and Baby, two poodles.  Brutus is the older brother, a white poodle with a puff at the end of his tail and a “mustache” at the end of his nose.  Baby is his adorable baby sister, all black with a poof on her tail like her brother and a cotton ball on the top of her head.

Brutus and Baby set off on an adventure when their family takes them to visit a farm.  There, they encounter the farm’s dogs, Charlie and Trixie and the foursome embark on all kinds of mischievous fun, including a mystery—someone is stealing all the hen’s eggs.  Can Brutus and Baby solve the mystery before it’s too late?  What is the big secret that the farm’s livestock holds?

Written with both English and Spanish dialogue, Rogers has an innate sense of relating to a child’s imagination.  Her characters are capricious and precious, and will have your children on edge wondering where the story will lead.  You’ll be reading this wonderful yarn numerous nights during story time.

About the Author:
Michelle Elizabeth Rogers is an advocate and activist of animal rights.  She graduated with honors from Neumann College in Aston, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  A former U.S. Army Reservist and Army Achievement Medal recipient, she now works as a Systems Administrator for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.  Ms. Rogers is currently working on a series of children’s books that are sequels to the Brutus and Baby adventures.  She lives in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.  The Adventures of Brutus and Baby, Excitement at the Anderson Farm is her first book.
