Oct. 5, 2008 - PRLog -- (Seattle, WA) – Beth Whitman, acclaimed author of the Wanderlust and Lipstick guides for women travelers, joins notable Seattle-area entrepreneurs as a featured speaker at Women, Wine and Wandering. This is an evening for women to promote socially responsible and empowered decisions in business and travel – hosted by Eileen Fisher clothing at its downtown location (525 Pine Street, Seattle), October 15, 2008, at 6:30 p.m.

“I feel honored to be part of an evening bringing so many interesting and entrepreneurial women together,” says Beth, as she prepares for the release of her third travel guide, Traveling with Kids. “We’re all interested in inspiring and encouraging other women to seek out their passions, whether in the field of travel or in building a business.”

Women, Wine and Wandering guests will also enjoy presentations by Crooked Trails, a non-profit tour organization, about responsible travel and cultural immersion and by Dama Winery co-founders Dawn Kammer and Mary Derby. The evening closes with an Eileen Fisher fall fashion showcase and a casual opportunity to meet the speakers, mingle and enjoy Dama wines. Copies of Beth’s travel guides, For Women Traveling Solo and For Women Traveling to India, will be available for purchase.
