PRLog -- Andres Rico-Toro is the Andean regional support manager for TechnoServe, an organization that helps entrepreneurial men and women in poor rural areas of the developing world to build businesses that create income, opportunity and economic growth for their families, communities and countries. TechnoServe works with a range of partners, such as the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Rockefeller and W.K. Kellogg Foundations, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Google. As the Andean regional support manager of this dynamic and progressive organization, Andres is responsible for coordinating projects, managing a team of twelve, leveraging funds, devising management strategies and overseeing the operations conducted across six countries. Andres is an expert in business administration and has more than a decade of experience in organizational development. He holds a master’s degree in business from the University of New South Wales and plans to pursue a Ph.D. Andres credits his achievement to the philosophy that “failure leads to success” and aspires to increase his profile in the entrepreneurial development market. He enjoys his spare time by reading the Economist, playing golf and traveling.
