Major Allan Houser Works To Be Displayed At Grand Prix De Santa Fe

Allan Houser, Inc. has announced that it will be displaying several of Allan Houser’s signature sculpture works as a sponsor of the 2008 Grand Prix de Santa Fe, Santa Fe’s premier charity horse event.
 
June 13, 2008 - PRLog -- Allan Houser, Inc. has announced that it will be displaying several of Allan Houser’s signature sculpture works as a sponsor of the 2008 Grand Prix de Santa Fe, Santa Fe’s premier charity horse event. The Fifth Annual Charity Event Weekend, June 12 through June 15, 2008, is being held at the Grand Prix Field at Las Campanas Santa Fe.

Allan Houser the world renowned 20th Century Modern American Artist, lived and worked in Santa Fe in a career that spanned over 75 years.  His works depict a wide array of genres from Modernist to Narrative and Abstract and Minimalist.  Allan Houser, Inc. sponsorship of The Grand Prix de Santa Fe is one of a number of events planned over the next twelve months for the estate of the late American Master.  

On display at the show jumping event will be five of Allan Houser’s classic, monumental pieces, as well as twenty-five of his smaller works available for collectors.

Allan Houser, Inc. was established in 1982 and its mission is to preserve and present the lifetime work of the Modern American Master Artist, Allan Houser. It also produces limited edition works from original molds or patterns created by Allan Houser and from molds provided by other select artists. Its offices are on a 110 acre estate south of Santa Fe which encompasses the late artist’s studios, sculpture gardens, a gallery, and full-service art foundry.  It also operates a gallery in downtown Santa Fe and maintains affiliations with galleries and museums across the US and the world.

The Grand Prix de Santa Fe was founded in 2004, and is dedicated to supporting, advancing and showcasing the New Mexico equestrian community through the development of a world-class show-jumping event. The Grand Prix de Santa Fe donates 100% of its net proceeds from fundraising and educational events to equestrian and social service charities in New Mexico.
