By: Dream-Maker Inc. RevivingNations@ http://www.PaulFDavis.com Wearing a flag lapel pin, Karl Rove displays Republican politics at its best. Rove revealing what Republican politics is all about said, “True patriotism consists not of wearing a flag lapel pin but in speaking out on the issues.” What Obama said as reported by the The New York Times best sums up the matter: “My attitude is that I’m less concerned about what you’re wearing on your lapel than what’s in your heart,” Mr. Obama told an audience here. “You show your patriotism by how you treat your fellow Americans, especially those who served... I wore it right after 9/11,” Mr. Obama said. “But after a while, you start noticing people wearing a lapel pin, but not acting very patriotic. Not voting to provide veterans with resources that they need. Not voting to make sure that disability payments were coming out on time.” Paul F Davis - author of United States of Arrogance http://www.PaulFDavis.com "God doesn't look upon the outward appearance but judges the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7; John 7:24). I guess the Republicans are more concerned with a self-righteous vain outward show than modeling true Christ-like behavior. It's always ironic to hear the self-righteous Republican party and its poster boys talk about the importance of patriotic lapel pins. Meanwhile their war hungry hearts are corrupt and ponying up with Halliburton and the Carlyle Group to profit handsomely from war without end that they have initiated in the name of "good against evil". Maybe they can all move to Dubai with Halliburton after the Presidential election when they are made to leave Washington. Maybe the United Arab Emirates will be more lenient about war crimes against humanity, or maybe not? Paul F Davis - author of United States of Arrogance http://www.PaulFDavis.com Paul F.
