My Global Safe secures new VC funding prior to launch

April 7, 2008 - PRLog -- The funding from private investors Ian Powell and Francis Goodwin, the former management team at outdoor advertisers Maiden plc, followed a new share issue. Powell and Goodwin’s investment also sees Powell take over as Chairman.

My Global Safe offers its unique software through subscription based services and delivers a personalised electronic filing cabinet concept to make the back-up of individual documents and possessions easy. Ian Powell and Francis Goodwin have worked together for 20 years. Having been part of a three-man team that purchased Maiden Outdoor in 1993 they led the company to a full listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1996. During their 13 years at Maiden turnover increased from £21 million to over £100 million. The company was sold for £56 million to Titan Outdoor Inc in May 2006, following which Powell and Goodwin have invested in several projects in both media and other related sectors.
