School To Teach Radio and Voiceover Classes Online

The Radio Academy Online (radioacademyonline.com) will teach students commercial radio and voice-over skills in an online instructor led setting starting in June, 2008.

March 31, 2008 - PRLog -- For years radio schools have taught aspiring DJ’s and voice over artists the skills needed to be commercial radio air personalities. However, the traditional schools were very expensive and only located in major metropolitan areas.  In June 2008, The Radio Academy Online, will open its doors to students all over the world with a unique online program that will teach all the necessary skills to become a radio DJ or voice over artist.
With the growth of internet radio, satellite radio and HD radio, more and more opportunities exist for both on-air and production work.  While competition remains stiff, well trained and talented individuals still find consistent work in the broadcasting industry.
The Radio Academy Online will offer a unique eight course program which includes classes like “Training The Speaking Voice,” and “Audio Production.”  Each class will be taught by an experienced radio or voice over professional.  Due to the flexible online structure of the program, students will be able to start anytime, move at their own pace and attend class on their own schedule.
Each course includes six to twelve separate lessons.  Each lesson develops a necessary skill for radio and voice over professionals.  Each lesson includes a written assignment, a video lesson and demonstration and a hands on activity.  From the first lesson, students will record, voice and produce their own commercials and practice vocal techniques they will use throughout their whole broadcasting careers.
The Radio Academy Online will open registration in May and classes will begin in June 2008. The school is located online at www.RadioAcademyOnline.com.
