Vectir 1.11 Released - Now with Bluetooth Remote Control compatibility for Symbian OS Mobile Phones

Version 1.11 of Vectir has been updated to provide Bluetooth Remote Control compatibility for mobile phones that run the Symbian OS. The Bluetooth remote server has also been updated to support the Microsoft Bluetooth stack.
 
Feb. 17, 2008 - PRLog -- Vectir http://www.vectir.com is a PC remote control application that lets you control popular media players such as Winamp, iTunes and Windows Media Player with a  Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or infrared (IR) remote control. Other features include mouse pointer control, master volume adjust and remote PC shutdown.

Version 1.11 of Vectir has been updated to provide Bluetooth Remote Control support for mobile phones that run the Symbian OS. This should include most phones running the series 60 platform.

Tested devices include the Nokia N80, Nokia E70, Nokia N73 and Nokia 5700.

The latest version of Vectir has also been updated to provide Microsoft Bluetooth stack compatiblity for the Bluetooth remote server.

The Vectir Bluetooth Remote Control is now compatible with a wide range of mobile phones with many makes and models having been successfully tested.
