Empowered Endings Foundation Raises over $19,000 in Donations for End-of-Life Support

SAN DIEGO - Dec. 12, 2025 - PRLog -- Empowered Endings Foundation (EEF) announces its Giving Tuesday campaign, which has already raised over $19,000. Co-Founder Elizabeth Uslander is now matching every donation up to $30,000 through the end of December, with the possibility of reaching $60,000 total, to support critical programs that bring dignity, compassion, and choice to individuals navigating the end-of-life journey.

The nonprofit organization provides financial assistance, educational resources, and community support to professionals, caregivers, and families facing serious illness, grief, and end-of-life care decisions. All donations directly sustain and expand programs, including the Empowered Endings Online Community with over 400 members, bereavement support groups, financial assistance for comfort medications and essential medical needs, and workshops on grief support, end-of-life planning, and dementia care.

"This support does more than provide medication. It restores humanity. It transforms fear into peace and ensures no one faces death feeling abandoned or unseen," said Dr. Charfen, EEF partner, reflecting on the Foundation's impact, providing financial assistance for a patient's Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD) medication.

The online community has become a vital resource connecting end-of-life professionals, caregivers, and individuals navigating serious illness through a growing resource library, monthly live events, and a supportive network committed to shifting the paradigm toward human-centered care.
