EdFed Named Title Sponsor of M-DCPS Superintendent's 5K

MIAMI - Oct. 14, 2025 - PRLog -- Educational Federal Credit Union (EdFed) has been named as the title sponsor for the annual 5K race staged to support Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). For over a decade, the event known as the Superintendent's 5K has historically drawn over 7,000 participants to downtown Miami. EdFed has entered a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Foundation (M-DCPS Foundation), the organizer of the event.

The event, now known as the EdFed Race for Education at the Superintendent's 5K, will be held on March 7, 2026, at Maurice A. Ferre Park, 1075 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to take part in the 5K, which features live entertainment and opportunities to connect with local organizations.

Proceeds from the event provide supplemental funding to programs that enhance student learning, strengthen resources for teachers, and expand educational opportunities.
