Atlantic Eye Welcomes Dr. Sarangdev Vaidya, MD, to Its Growing Team of Surgeons

Dr. Vaidya brings advanced expertise in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, refractive surgery, and comprehensive ophthalmology, further expanding the practice's ability to provide exceptional care to patients.

Dr. Vaidya completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Rutgers University and earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency at Northwell Health/Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra and conducted research at the Ocular Oncology Service at Wills Eye Hospital.

His clinical interests include advanced cataract surgery, laser-assisted procedures, specialty intraocular lens implantation, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and emergency eye care. He is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and Spanish, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
