SEOUL, South Korea - Nov. 4, 2025 - PRLog -- The Pacific Insurance Conference (PIC) 2025, held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul from September 23-25, placed artificial intelligence at the forefront of the insurance industry's strategic dialogue. The event gathered global insurance leaders to explore how technology is reshaping underwriting, claims, and customer engagement with a clear message: AI is no longer a future concept; it's a leadership imperative.

A highlight of the conference was the keynote address by Chandra Donelson, celebrated author and data strategist, whose vision for enterprise AI anchored the three-day event. In her keynote, "From Vision to Value: The Leader's Role in Driving Enterprise AI Success" Donelson emphasized the evolving responsibility of leadership in steering AI initiatives from experimentation toward measurable, value-driven outcomes.

"The most disruptive skill in the world is simply having an idea," Donelson told the audience. "And here's the future I see: by 2040, technology will push the insurance industry from focusing solely on compensating for loss to playing a central role in preventing it."

Donelson introduced her 6A Framework, a strategic blueprint designed to help executives translate vision into value by aligning AI implementation with business outcomes, customer needs, and ethical responsibility. Her message was centered on the theme of disruption:emphasizing that "The most relevant person in the room is the one who is most afraid but bold enough to disrupt themselves."

On September 25, Donelson joined the panel discussion "Smart Insurance: Unlocking the Power of AI to Transform the Industry" alongside Ryan Kim of FWD, Dr. Sutee Mokkhavesa of Muang Thai Life, and Justin Kim of Hupo. Moderated by Sam Evans of Eos Ventures, the session explored AI's impact on core operations and the strategic outlook for next-generation insurance. Donelson urged the industry to anticipate the expectations of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, not only as future policyholders but as the next wave of insurance innovators.

"The most successful companies won't be the ones that chase everything, they'll be the ones that choose the one thing that matters most, and commit the hell out of it," she said during the panel.

This year's PIC reflected a broader global shift: insurers are evolving from cautious AI adopters to AI-driven enterprises. Donelson's insights resonated with executives striving to balance innovation with integrity.

As the conference closed, one theme stood out: the path to AI success demands bold leadership, strategic clarity, and a commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for both customers and society.
