Mechatron Robotics and Techfest, IIT Bombay Collaborated For Robotics Workshop

MUMBAI, India - Oct. 1, 2025 - PRLog -- Mechatron Robotics, a global leader in Robotics and AI education, in collaboration with Techfest, IIT Bombay, has successfully completed a series of hands-on robotics workshops at engineering colleges across Mumbai. The initiative brought together hundreds of students eager to gain practical exposure in robotics, artificial intelligence, and Industry 4.0 skills.

Since 2018, Mechatron Robotics has trained over 50,000 students worldwide across more than 30 locations including India, Canada, Kenya, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Vietnam, Mauritius, Germany, and Australia. Staying true to its mission of preparing students for Industry 4.0, Mechatron has partnered with Techfest to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry-ready skills.

The workshops, aimed at preparing the students for the upcoming Mumbai Zonal competitions, to be held on 5th October at IIT Bombay Organised by Techfest, provided students with both theoretical foundations and hands-on training in robotics. Beginning with an introduction to the fundamentals—robot categories, applications, and essential hardware—the sessions quickly progressed into real-world building and coding exercises. Students worked with microcontrollers such as Arduino Uno and ESP32, and programmed in Python and C++.

Participants successfully designed and built robots including Gripper Bots, Remote-Controlled Bots, Line Follower Robots, and Depth Detector Robots. Along the way, they learned about circuit prototyping, sensor integration, and system design. The program culminated in students pitching their own innovative ideas, sourcing components, and planning projects for competitions and future development.
