Marsha Blackburn's Push for MTSU Dean's Firing Over Kirk Exposes Whistleblower Retaliation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sept. 13, 2025 - PRLog -- In 2012, Middle Tennessee State University, led by Assistant Dean Laura Sosh-Lightsy, expelled me on fabricated "hate speech and terrorism" charges after I exposed Tennessee Vocational Rehabilitation's wrongful denial of essential services intended to support my education and rehabilitation. The disciplinary hearing, captured on video, revealed MTSU's collusion to shield VR's misconduct, a retaliation that destroyed my academic prospects and forced me to rebuild my life far from home. Even the FBI casually dismissed my concerns, with their Memphis office mocking me and an agent sizing me up abroad, offering no support against this institutional betrayal.

On September 11, 2025, MTSU fired Sosh-Lightsy for her hate-speech attacks on conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a cause Marsha Blackburn passionately endorsed, lauding the university's commitment to free speech. Yet, when I sought her assistance years earlier to address the injustice of my expulsion for whistleblowing, Marsha Blackburn dismissed my pleas, leaving me to face the consequences alone as I was granted permanent disability due to the profound harm caused by MTSU's actions. This glaring hypocrisy—championing one case while ignoring another—highlights a failure of accountability that must be addressed. This betrayal by MTSU, VR, and Marsha Blackburn demands public acknowledgment and justice.
