Mars is trending! Let's make it weirder

FRANKLIN, N.C. - Sept. 3, 2025 - PRLog -- A Mars rover crash-lands on a quiet Martian farm again. But this time, local farmer Marty has a plan… involving his best friend, a rebellious daughter, and a hungry cow with a taste for space junk.

The Kickstarter campaign, titled "Marty the Martian Farmer: Rover's End – An Animated Sci-Fi Comedy", aims to fund the production of a hilarious and original animated pilot blending slapstick, satire, and sci-fi. Think Futurama meets Green Acres, all set on the dusty red plains of Mars.

The pilot script already won the Columbine Award at the Moondance International Film Festival for originality and storytelling. Now, creator Neal Jamison is inviting the public to help bring this imaginative project to life.

About the Story
Marty is a green-skinned Martian farmer with a mysterious past. Alongside his conspiracy-loving neighbor Jimmy, his punk-rocking teenage daughter Clarita, and Serinabelle, a cow who eats Earth junk, Marty finds a way to turn space trash into treasure... or at least some good laughs.

Now Seeking:
