Invopak unveils new sustainable glass range

SOUTHAM, U.K. - Aug. 26, 2025 - PRLog -- Invopak, the rigid packaging supplier, has recently launched their new glass range. Glass is one of the most recycled materials in the UK, with approximately 74% of container glass collected being recycled, according to the government's latest statistics. According to WRAP, using recycled glass in manufacturing can cut energy use by up to 30% and reduce CO₂ emissions significantly. Invopak's glass range aligns with the UK Government's Resources and Waste Strategy, which prioritises materials that can be infinitely recycled.

Glass packaging brings other benefits too, as Elise highlights, "Our borosilicate glass containers are specially designed for laboratory use; they can withstand the high temperatures and harsh chemicals necessary for scientific research.  We're also offering amber glass options, which provide UV protection against light damage as well as clear soda glass jars and bottles."

When it comes to packaging, more customers prefer glass. The public's perception of glass as a recyclable, non-toxic, premium product means that it is a good fit for the cosmetics, food and drink and pharmaceutical industries.
