Gregory Blair's "The Mystery of Emma Thorn" Nabs Distribution with Indie Rights!"It was an easy decision," Blair says. "Indie Rights handled the re-release of my director's cut of Deadly Revisions; the process was straight-forward with 100% transparency and superior attention. They are a true champion of independent film and filmmakers, so I'm quite happy to be partnering with them again for The Mystery of Emma Thorn." "We're delighted to distribute The Mystery of Emma Thorn," said Linda Nelson, one of the founders of Indie Rights. "We pride ourselves in representing a diverse selection of some of the best independent films in the market and The Mystery of Emma Thorn fits right in with that. We are very confident that, between the quality of Blair's new film and our major distribution outlet relationships, The Mystery of Emma Thorn could well be the next sleeper hit of the indie world." In the character-driven film, beloved wife and mother Emma Thorn (Lowry) has gone missing. Husband Ari (Blair) and mildly autistic adult son Casper (Charles Chudabala) enlist a police detective (Kevin Caliber) to try to find her. But the circumstances under which Emma left are puzzling. And Casper suspects his father is haunted by something more than his wife's absence. Bit by bit, the truth comes out, leading to a heartbreaking discovery. "It's ultimately a film about relationships and connection," This film also features Xavier Roe as Oliver, cinematography by Sophia Cacciola (The Once and Future Smash), sound design by Chris Carlone (Garden Party Massacre) and an original score by Everett Young (Craving).
