By: HAITIAN AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE INC This multi-day experience begins with Open Rehearsal Workshops on August 26 & 27, 2025 (4:00–6:00 PM) and culminates in the World Premiere Concert on August 29, 2025 (7:00 PM) at the Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami, FL. A Rare Behind-the-Scenes Experience Kreyol Djazz features five original compositions that merge American jazz with vibrant Haitian and Caribbean rhythms. Developed by Jean Caze with drummer/producer David Chiverton and pianist/composer Jason Matthews, this project celebrates the deep cultural roots and innovative spirit of Haitian music within the global jazz tradition. Workshop attendees will witness live rehearsals, gain insight into the creative process, and engage with the artists through Q&A sessions and participatory activities. The premiere concert will debut these works for the first time in full performance.
