Sunshine Ace Hardware opens new retail store at Winchester Center near Orangetree community

NAPLES, Fla. - July 15, 2025 - PRLog -- Sunshine Ace Hardware has opened a new retail store in Winchester Center, a new commercial development off Immokalee Road in Golden Gate Estates (near the Orangetree community) nestled conveniently between North Naples and Immokalee. This new location becomes the company's seventh hardware store in Collier County.

The Winchester Center store offers a wide selection of power and hand tools, hardware, paint and painting accessories, lawn and garden supplies, plumbing fixtures, fishing gear, propane, gifts and supplies for DIYers. Its signature best brands include Benjamin Moore, Stihl, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Big Green Egg, Shimano, Penn, Yeti and Costa. The Helpful Hub connects customers with professional services such as screen repair, key cutting and paint color matching, as well as delivery coordination and assembly for grills, power tools and more. Residential customers in the area also now have access to Ace Handyman Services of Southwest Florida for home maintenance projects like installing wall-mounted TVs and ceiling fans, repairing lanai screens, painting, updating cabinets, drywall work and general carpentry services.

Sunshine Ace Hardware is more than a traditional hardware store. "My grandfather, Don Wynn, started Sunshine Ace Hardware in 1958 with a single store in Naples," said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. "The Winchester Center location brings convenience closer to customers in Golden Gate Estates who need help with home repairs, hurricane preparations or finding the brands they know and trust."

In addition to the seven hardware stores in Collier County, Sunshine Ace Hardware operates two in Lee County, three in Charlotte County and one in Pinellas County, plus two Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware stores in Manatee County. The company also runs two paint stores in Collier County and two gift stores in Manatee County.

Julie Pederson is serving as store manager at the location. She joined Sunshine Ace Hardware in June 2018 as assistant manager at the company's Golden Gate store and was promoted to store manager three years ago. In 2021, Pederson won the Don Q. Wynn Associate of the Year Award for embodying the company's core values. She holds an Associate of Science degree in business administration, management and operations from Seminole State College of Florida.

The new store is located at 13855 Winchester Trail, Unit 200, in Naples. Operating hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
