Marshall Barnes Backs Peter Thiel's Claims With Science - Elon Musk Knows He's Not Going To Mars

AUSTIN, Texas - July 17, 2025 - PRLog -- Peter Thiel, Elon Musk's billionaire friend, recently stated Musk changed his mind in 2024 about going to Mars as a political project due to concerns about AI and political interference. Marshall Barnes, the internationally noted advanced concept sci-tech R+D engineer and past Mars Society conference paper contributor, has doubted Elon's thinking on settling Mars for some time now and in 2024, the release of a new study bolstered his position. The study was conducted under a UCL-led initiative involving over 40 institutions on five continents.
