Follow on Google News | Immigrant Couple from Modesto Wins Prestigious Awards at the SF Wine and Spirits CompetitionBy: SF Wine and Spirits Magazine celebrating their recent successes at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), the oldest and largest competition of its kind and the Tequila and Spirits Magazine. Their Blanco and Reposado tequilas were awarded Silver Medals, while their Añejo tequila received a Bronze Medal. "We are incredibly proud and honored to receive these recognitions for our tequila," said Rick Ochoa, Co- Founder of Noble 1975. "This achievement is a testament to our team's dedication to producing exceptional tequila that reflects our commitment to quality and excellence." The SFWSC is renowned for its rigorous judging process and esteemed panel of experts. This year's competition featured entries from globally recognized distilleries and rising small-batch producers. Awards are based on merit, with judges evaluating each spirit within its peer group to ensure fairness. "From the very beginning, Monica has been my rock, supporting my vision and playing a crucial role in developing Noble 1975," Rick added. "It's a dream come true to build this company in our hometown of Modesto." Noble 1975's tequila is crafted using traditional methods, beginning with carefully selected blue agave. The tequila is fermented for several months, a process that is critical in developing its unique and distinct flavor profile. The resulting tequila is smooth, sophisticated, and honors the legacy of its name. Notably, Noble 1975 is produced without any added sugars or additives, and is certified gluten-free. Rick, an immigrant from Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, named the tequila Noble 1975 to honor his wife and life partner, Monica, whose birth year is 1975. "The name 'Noble' truly reflects Monica's character," he says. "She has been my greatest supporter, guiding and inspiring our family to achieve more than we ever thought possible. Together, we've built a wonderful life as business owners, entrepreneurs, and active members of our community." Rick and Monica now share their love of tequila and their success story throughout California and will be featured in the June 2025 issue of Amaré Magazine, a Los Angeles based national print and digital magazine covering entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, food, travel, charities/non- more. Rick and Monica were officially recognized at Amaré Magazine's 10th Year Anniversary as Power Players for 2025 on Thursday June 26, 2025 in Long Beach, CA. Amaré's mission is to shine the spot light on new and upcoming entrepreneurs and businesses. For more information about Noble 1975, please visit www.noble1975tequila.com or instagram@noble1975 End
