From January to April, total domestic fuel-powered motorcycle sales reached an impressive 5.811 million units, marking a 17.5% year-on-year growth—far outpacing electric motorcycles, which saw a more modest 7.6% increase to 1.067 million units.

   • Chongqing's own Loncin follows closely behind, helping solidify the city's status as a major motorcycle hub.

1. Zongshen Motor – 357,400 units
   • Now a majority shareholder of Loncin, Zongshen's strong performance places it third.
2. Daye Motor (Jiangmen) – 343,500 units

In April alone, domestic sales hit 1.7151 million units, up 19.08% YoY, indicating robust ongoing demand.

Meanwhile, exports soared to 4.12 million units, a 28.33% increase YoY, outperforming domestic growth. Leading exporters included Loncin, Da Changjiang, Daye, Zongshen, and Yinxiang, proving these brands are powerhouses on the global stage as well.
