Follow on Google News | ![]() He Applied to 1,800 Jobs and Got Ignored — So He Built An AI That Makes Recruiters ObsoleteBy: LockedIn AI "The job search process is utterly dehumanizing for the candidates. Even with internships, work experience, referrals, prestigious schools, everything that should check the box for a perfect candidate, it's never enough." said Kagehiro Mitsuyami, Founder of LockedIn AI. Kagehiro, who holds a Master's degree in AI and machine learning, developed the technology after facing significant challenges as an international job seeker from China. Following more than 1,800 job applications and 50 interviews, he identified a critical need for adaptive, real-time support during the hiring process. After initial success with a prototype among peers, Kagehiro formally launched LockedIn AI to offer scalable solutions for candidates navigating complex technical and behavioral interviews. LockedIn AI functions as a live copilot during interviews, meetings, and assessments. The platform includes stealth-mode functionality, screen and audio analysis, system design support, and multilingual interaction across 42 languages. It also features resume-building tools optimized for applicant tracking systems (ATS) and preparation tools for online technical exams. The system is powered by several leading AI models, including Deepseek V3, Azure GPT-4o,O3-mini, Gemini 2.0, and Claude 3.5 & 3.7 Sonnet. The company reports that 80% of users secure employment within three months of using the platform, and 40% receive offers exceeding $100,000 annually. Current clients include professionals in software engineering, project management, and design roles at major tech firms. Client feedback has played a central role in the platform's development. Users have reported measurable outcomes, including job offers from companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Netflix. One user, a UX designer, credited the system's coaching features for helping navigate a rigorous system design interview and securing a $220,000 position. "The hiring process has changed, and tools like LockedIn AI are helping candidates adapt in real-time," said Kagehiro. "We built this platform to level the playing field for anyone entering a high-pressure hiring environment, especially those at a disadvantage due to background, location, or access to resources." LockedIn AI is currently available through desktop and mobile browsers, with expanded features planned for release in the coming months. They recently released their desktop app tutorial, which can be seen here - https://youtu.be/ End
