The application, which consumed defence-related updates via custom APIs, was becoming resource-intensive and lacked scalability. IFI Techsolutions addressed these challenges by migrating the application to Azure WebApp Services on a Linux platform. This strategic move not only improved scalability and reduced infrastructure overhead but also enhanced performance by bringing down API response times from 45 to 20 seconds.

IFI Techsolutions demonstrated Azure's flexibility by enabling seamless adoption of different frameworks and operating systems, showcasing the platform's potential for future scalability and performance gains. Key enhancements included integrating compatible Linux packages, using White noise for static files, and implementing storage for temporary API data processing. To ensure security, the solution incorporated Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) and underwent thorough grey box testing post-migration.

The successful migration validated Azure as a reliable and secure platform for mission-critical applications, encouraging L&T Defence to explore further Azure services.
