PacketLight Networks PL-8000M Muxponder Honored by 2025 Lightwave+BTR Innovation Reviews

TEL AVIV, Israel - March 11, 2025 - PRLog -- PacketLight Networks, a leading provider of DWDM and OTN solutions, today announced that its PL-8000M Muxponder has received the esteemed 2025 Lightwave+BTR Innovation Reviews award in the category of Optical Transport Systems.

A panel of judges, comprised of experts from the optical communications and broadband communities, awarded PacketLight with the high score of 4.0 honoree status.

The PL-8000M 2x800G Muxponder, a new product in PacketLight's portfolio, addresses the growing demand for high-capacity, cost-effective optical transport solutions in the emerging AI and cloud environments. Its technology and flexible architecture make this device ideal for rolling out 800GbE, 400GbE, and 100GbE services or for enhancing existing network capacity, delivering up to 1.6Tb/s using two 800G pluggable OpenROADM coherent optical modules in a 1U device.
