King of Spain Thanks Count Miklos Cseszneky for Helping Flood Victims

MADRID - Dec. 20, 2024 - PRLog -- Their Majesties King Felipe and Queen Letizia expressed their gratitude to Hungarian-Croatian nobleman Count Miklos Cseszneky for the invaluable assistance that the Cseszneky family and the Order of Marcus Aurelius provided to victims of the devastating flash floods in Spain's Valencian Community.

In the wake of the recent catastrophic flash floods that have impacted various regions in Spain, particularly the Valencian Community, the Order of Marcus Aurelius acted swiftly to offer vital support. Founded in 2022 by Count Miklos Cseszneky, this chivalric and charitable organization, which emphasizes Stoic philosophy and virtuous living, is currently aiding four families who have been significantly affected by the disaster.

The selected families are receiving comprehensive support, including temporary housing, essential furnishings, clothing, appliances, and interest-free loans to assist in their recovery and rebuilding efforts.

In addition to the direct assistance provided by the Order of Marcus Aurelius, Count and Countess Cseszneky have also generously supported the flood victim assistance program of Caritas in the Valencian Community.

The Cseszneky family's ties to the region date back to the 13th century, when Jakab Cseszneky, who would later build Csesznek Castle in Hungary, participated in the reconquest of Valencia. Count Miklos Cseszneky himself pursued postgraduate studies in the city.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia thanked Count Miklos Cseszneky and his family for their generous support during these challenging times.
