The SafeHouse Initiative adds Third Advisory Board Director

Roger A. Grimes joins the SafeHouse Initiative as an Advisory Board Director

DENVER - May 23, 2024 - PRLog -- The SafeHouse Initiative, a global consortium of industry-leading technology providers, has announced that industry cyber security veteran, author and speaker, Roger A. Grimes, will join the SafeHouse Initiative Cybersecurity Advisory Board in a Director role.  Roger joins Prateek Agrawal and Neal Mullen as the organizations third Advisory Board Director.

Roger A. Grimes brings 35-years of computer security expertise as a consultant, instructor, and author to the SafeHouse Initiative.  He holds dozens of computer certifications, has authored 14 books and over 1400 articles on computer security.  Roger has appeared on radio, television and podcasts as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity, has worked at some of the world's largest computer security companies, and has consulted for hundreds of companies, from the largest to the smallest, around the world.

In his role as advisor to the SafeHouse Initiative board, Roger will actively meet with SafeHouse Initiative contributors to provide guidance on where the SafeHouse Initiative should focus in order to continue to address the dynamic threats that cyber-attacks pose to realizing true operational resilience.

"I am incredibly excited to join the SafeHouse Initiative to work with the contributors in our effort to help organizations of all sizes to improve their cyber security and operational resilience by being better prepared to identify, mitigate and respond to cyber threats of all types.  I am very passionate about helping organizations, especially small and medium sized businesses, prepare for and respond to disruptions with proactive operational approaches.  The SafeHouse Initiative brings focus on helping all organizations be safer and able to achieve business continuity.", commented Grimes.

Early in 2023, building off of their new SafeHouse Technology, ZeroDown inspired and pioneered the first of its kind multi-vendor collaboration of industry-leading organizations along with the insurance industry to redefine the approach to operational cyber resilience.

For many organizations, especially those in small-medium businesses (SMB), it can be a daunting task to understand the full scope of what cyber resilience is required for their specific business and the best areas to focus withvendors and which technologies to engage. With this in mind we defined the SafeHouse Initiative as a safe place to learn, no tracking or membership fees. No selling or marketing. Simply practical educational content provided by industry leading content contributors.

The SafeHouse Initiative was formed as a community of industry-leading technology providers, consultants, and practitioners dedicated to sharing expertise related to cyber security, operational risk and ransomware protection. Based on the belief that SMBs should be equipped with the same knowledge and best practices as large organizations, the SafeHouse Initiative enables businesses of all sizes to develop strategies for operational and application resilience.
