Father and Daughter Combine Skills for a Satirical Book about Dogs

A Canine Exposé is a parody that features text by a non-dog loving curmudgeon in Barry, accompanied by tongue-in-cheek and clever illustrations by Emily. "We have been forever trying to make each other laugh," Barry explains of his relationship with Emily. "There is nothing serious in this book at all. Emily's drawings feature dogs in silly situations, such as a Greyhound with wheels and a Great Dane that can't fit on the page."

Each of the two-page spreads that are dedicated to a specific breed includes Barry's light-hearted text and Emily's accompanying drawing.
