Northwestern Mutual–Chicago Promotes Merritt to Director of Internship and New Career Development

CHICAGO - March 11, 2024 - PRLog -- Northwestern Mutual – Chicago has announced the promotion of Carrie Merritt to the role of director of internship and new career development with the Chicago-based financial planning firm.

Merritt joined Northwestern Mutual – Chicago in 2023 as director of internship development, responsible for the vision and strategic execution of the firm's nationally recognized program. In her new role, she will continue leading the college program while guiding the firm's career development programs for the next generation of financial professionals.

Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual – Chicago, Merritt honed her strategic and marketing skills as a consultant to major Chicago-based organizations and as a mentor for MBA students.

Merritt earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Ohio.

She resides in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood with her husband and two sons.
