By: Republic of Music In fact, Dizzee went into the creative process for this record with the goal of "picking the vibe up," as he said in a recent interview on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch. He added that he's loved performing it live for his fans, who are treated to a blend of high-energy bars and instrumentals meant to break even the most formidable PA systems. To say Don't Take It Personal is rich with bass would be an understatement, because Dizzee has loaded this album with one banger after the next. You can hear that immediately on the opening salvo and single "Stay In Your Lane," where the rapper/producer flexes his trademark flow and f*ck-you lyricism over bouncy production. It also sets off a collection of tracks that flirts with various influences including house, dubstep, garage, and grime, and Dizzee is right at home rapping over every single one of them. It's fitting, then, that he explained his desire to just have fun with creating Don't Take It Personal, an album where he recorded and produced the majority of it at home and on his own schedule. That didn't stop him from inviting over a number of notable guests, though, like JME and D Double E for the riotous "What You Know About That" as well as P-Money and Backroad Gee for the snarling "Keep That Same Energy." Dizzee's ability to blend those styles is what's helped him not only maintain his relevance, but also his passion and love for creating music. The 16 track LP is available through through all major DSPs, CD and vinyl in multiple color variants via Big Dirtee Records Ltd. Linkfire: https://lnk.to/ Tracklist: 01. Stay In Your Lane 02.
