Follow on Google News | New research report: To compete in 2024, companies must create agile culturesRigid corporate structures will struggle under the rapid pace of change in 2024, and companies must foster agile, 'experiment to learn' cultures empowering teams to act with speed.
By: Winmark The report draws on insights from over 200 C-suite executives globally and found their top strategic priority is embedding agility into strategy, leadership, culture and operations. The ability to respond quickly to technology disruption, geopolitical upheaval and skill shortages will be the key to achieving growth. Findings show that in 2024 'making bold strategic moves' is a top priority for 75% of C-Suite execs, and 68% say 'creating strategic agility' is an imperative. Harnessing AI and tech, building skilled teams, navigating global economic challenges, and leading transformative growth are the top focus areas. The report also offers practical frameworks and tools, including CIPD's 'Seven 'Rights' of Workforce Planning' empowering executives to make informed decisions and drive transformative growth, and the 'Cynefin Framework' for leadership in chaotic environments. "The businesses that succeed will be those that harness these winds of change and are not simply buffeted by them," said John Jeffcock, CEO of Winmark. "Leaders must implement forward-looking strategies rooted in agility, innovation and purposeful leadership." Peter Cheese, chief executive of the CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development, commented: "Being able to engage and listen to the different experiences and voices within organisations to shape the future is vital. Individual leaders can't know everything so we have to collaborate with others, take on board different views and forge a common direction." Download the full report (https://winmarkglobal.com/ End
