In the recent webinar, "5 Actions to Mitigate Teen Depression," Islamic Leadership Institute of America took a proactive approach to address the concerns parents have about their teens and the silent struggle affecting their young minds.

Understanding Teen Depression:
The discussion dove deep into the complexities of teen depression, emphasizing that it's more than just a phase. This complex mental health challenge is characterized by prolonged low moods and impaired functioning in various aspects of life. As parents, we explored the signs and equipped ourselves with tools to guide our teens through these challenging times.

Islam's Guidance and Mental Resilience:
Together, we delved into how the principles of Islam enhance mental resilience, providing parents with valuable insights to support their teens on a path towards well-being. We explored the nature of teen depression, its causes, why teenagers are vulnerable, and the crucial red flags that parents should be aware of.

Guiding Parents on the Journey:
Acknowledging the pivotal role parents play in detecting and addressing teen depression, our previous webinar equipped parents with valuable insights and tools. ILIA aimed to address all concerns, guiding parents on a journey of understanding their kids and empowering them with actionable strategies.
