ILIA's Accounting and Data Analytics Internship

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Jan. 9, 2024 - PRLog -- In a commendable stride towards fostering the intellectual growth of young minds, Islamic Leadership Institute of America (ILIA) is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Al Huda School for a groundbreaking Accounting and Data Analytics Internship. This transformative 3-week program, conducted in partnership with Dar us Salaam, is designed to equip high schoolers from Al Huda School with essential skills and insights, aligning seamlessly with ILIA's commitment to educational excellence.

This three-week internship, initially launched from December 4th to December 31st, has been extended by an additional four weeks, concluding at the end of January. Hosted at the Dar us Salaam offices in College Park, a mere 0.5 miles from Al Huda School, the strategically scheduled sessions persist twice a week after school (from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm). Emphasizing accessibility and convenience, ILIA further enhances the experience by providing transportation and a light meal, fostering a supportive learning environment for participants. The extension was driven by the desire to further enrich the participants' learning journey, recognizing the value of the internship and ensuring continued personal and educational development.

The internship curriculum focuses on imparting practical skills essential in today's digital age, delving into key areas such as Spreadsheet Proficiency, Data Generation, Chart Development, and Report Writing. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including data capture, spreadsheet editing, chart development, and reporting. These activities not only enhance technical proficiency but also cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

ILIA highly values the dedication and effort put forth by each student. To recognize their hard work, students who successfully complete the program will receive a stipend commensurate with their performance and punctuality. This initiative aims not only to instill a sense of achievement but also to cultivate a sense of responsibility among the participants.
