3DChimera to Showcase Dyeformer's New Color Dye Options at Formnext in Frankfurt

FRANKFURT, Germany - Nov. 6, 2023 - PRLog -- 3DChimera will showcase exciting and colorful new updates to their flagship product, the Dyeformer, at this year's Formnext event in Frankfurt, Germany. A fully functioning system  can be seen at their booth in the USA Pavilion, Hall 11, Booth B41C.

Last year's release of the Dyeformer closed a gap in the market for an accessible, affordable, and consistent method to dye traditionally white or gray powder bed fusion 3D printed Nylon PA12 parts. This year sees the addition of 8 dye colors that allow for the same ease of use and open up a world of colorful combinations for 3D printed parts.

The 8 new dye colors are magenta, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple. They are available for sale now along with the Dyeformer machine. The dyes are sold in 1, 4, and 12 pack configurations. The Dyeformer remains a terrific value at $4,999 USD and the price tag is significantly lower than the competition, who sell machines ranging from $15,000 - $60,000 USD. "The Dyeformer was designed to take the guesswork out of dyeing parts. We are able to guarantee that results are consistent and repeatable every time and adding color to the offering makes this the perfect choice for so many types of consumers", shared 3DChimera owner, Alex Hussain.

This new system comes fully equipped with everything needed to start dyeing PA12, CF/GF PA12, PA11, CF/GF PA11, TPE, TPU, PBT, and 365, 385, and 405NM resin materials made via SLS, MJF, SAF, SLA, DLP and mSLA processes. The black dye solution can be reused for up to 30 days and the new color dye solutions can be used for up to 24 hours. With this product line expansion, 3DChimera is looking to bring on new distributors and partner with organizations to solve this post-production workflow issue.
