LOS ANGELES - Oct. 7, 2023 - PRLog -- Disability Rights Now (DRN) presents Bold Beauty Project LA is a powerful photography exhibition at the art room in DTLA featuring 20 women with various disabilities seen through the lenses of 20 award-winning LA photographers.

On view is also a tribute to Hollywood and Bold Beauty Project (BBP) lead photographer, the late Robert G. Zuckerman, featuring his iconic photo, "Joy with Rose Petals."

The mission of DRN (disabilityrightsnow.com) is to assist people with disabilities pursuing careers in the legal field at all levels (private, public, and government) through donated financial stipends.Notably, 20% of California's population have a disability, but less than 1% of employees in law firms report being disabled, according to the ABA Profile of the Legal Profession, 2021. David Brisco, Esq. is CEO of DRN.

DRN collaborated with BBP (www.boldbeautyproject.com), a visual arts exhibition celebrating women with various disabilities. The large-scale photographs, coupled with the women's and photographers' narratives, creates a vivid and intimate portrait of women with disabilities today. The process provides transformative experiences for participants and new visions of beauty and engagement for viewers. BBP uses art as a tool for empowering change. Shelly Baer, LCSW is Founder/Co-Director and Eva Ritvo, MD is Co-Director of BBP.

Designed by AUX Architecture, Brian Wickersham, Founding Partner/Design Director, the art room is an innovative gallery/bar/restaurant with cuisine by celebrity Chef D. Brandon Walker. The art room received the 2021 Restaurant Design Award from the American Institute of Architects, LA.

The Bold Beauty Project LA Photography Exhibition is on display at the art room, 908 S. Olive St., Los Angeles, CA. The opening reception was held on September 30 to a capacity crowd. The gallery will be open to the public free of charge through Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10 am to 5 pm.
