The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company hires Jenna Pruitt as Director of Compliance

SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. - Aug. 11, 2023 - PRLog -- The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company recently announced the addition of the firm's new Director of Compliance Jenna Pruitt, CIA, CFIRS to oversee and implement compliance standards for The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and its divisions of The Naples Trust Company and The Tampa Bay Trust Company. Pruitt's compliance responsibilities include the monitoring of The Trust Company's strength of internal controls and audits; adequacy of earnings, compliance with governing instruments, applicable laws, and sound fiduciary principles.

Prior to joining the The Trust Company, Pruitt served on the Risk Consulting and Internal Audit team for several years at Crow LLP headquartered in Chicago, IL, a public accounting, consulting and technology firm that can serve as a third-party auditor for financial firms. Her most recent position was as Senior Manager where she managed several teams to execute consulting engagements, and co-led firm-wide trust and wealth management initiatives.

Pruitt is an experienced speaker in her industry, having presented at conferences for FIRMA (Fiduciary and Investment Risk Management Association), Crowe Financial Services, and Central Virginia Institute of Internal Auditors. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Western Carolinas Chapter, and attended Ball State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
